| About Me I was born in 1984 in Northfield, Minnesota and began picking out tunes on the piano at a very young age. After classical training I was soon center-stage tearing into "Great Balls of Fire" for the high school Rock n' Roll Revival, leading acapella and barbershop groups, and singing for the Minnesota All-State Choir. I am grateful not only for the abundance of wide-ranging performance experience I recieved while attending St. Olaf College(liturgical, choral, and theatrical settings, chamber groups, music for ballet or modern dance classes, jazz combos, jazz bands, masterclasses, solo recitals, and more), but also for the opportunities abroad while attending Brevard Music Center in 2003 and Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea in 2004. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BM degree in piano performance and earned recognition for outstanding achievement in music from the Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honor Society. Since 2006 I have been playing professionally and I am currently being featured on cruise ships  as a solo entertainer. Previous onboard experiences have included jazz trio, quartet, quintet, showband, jazz band, big band, and dixie band. I've had the priveledge of learning from and performing alongside internationally performing artists such as Greg Bonham, Sun Ra's Knoel Scott, Tony Tillman, Kyle Esplin, Fred “Mickey” Finn & Cathy Reilly, Jonathan Kane, Vincent Talarico, Dan Horn, Pete Matthews, Delisco, Mark Newsome, Kamika, Carl Strong, Peter Mezoian, Steve Carte, and Dimitri Gayvoronski. Outside of ships I enjoy playing for any occasion in any style: restaurants, corporate, social, or private events, bars, weddings, cafes, in jazz combo, for silent film, and as background for numerous functions.
